My Dirty-Hair-and-No-Time-To-Style-It Hairdo
Like most days, I had dirty hair and no time to style it this morning. But then I remembered a tip from this hair and makeup shortcuts story that I worked on from hairstylist, Orlando Pita, who worked backstage at the Carolina Herrera show during NYFW in September.
"A sleek style, like a ponytail or bun, is easy to create in minutes. But controlling frizzies on a slick style isn't always easy. To get a perfect finish every time, use "a boar bristle toothbrush from Whole Foods or any kind of natural foods store … you spray your brush with hairspray and then you start cleaning up all of your edges."
I parted my hair down the middle, created a quick, somewhat messy low bun and ... voila! I skipped the toothbrush part and it still looked good. So there you have it.

I'm so happy you posted this Molly. I heard it's not good to wash your hair EVERY day, and since I have VERY curly hair - it's a little bit difficult for me to tame my frizzies if I do happen to sleep on my hair. Today for example I did not wash my hair and instead of going for the bun/ponytail, I opted for the very simple braid! It only took me about 3 minutes to do before I left the house for work. (I also love side braids too!) :)
