I wouldn't recommend using this on dry hair---but I never really use leave in conditioner on dry hair anyway. I like to apply about a large marble sized amount to lower half of my long hair when it's damp or wet. I comb it through my hair pretty well...

I have this in an olive shade w/golden shimmer. It was kind of dried out when I bought it. The little jar is so small too. The shade is gorgeous, and the lasting power is alright. But I think I'll stick with MAC Fluidlines.
